How do I choose a
player to listen to the broadcasts?

Solution:

If you have a PC,
the default player for Live365 is Player365. There is no default player if
you have a Mac.
Player365 will automatically install when you choose it as your default via
the "My Settings" link or the "Listening Setup" link in
the playlist window or at the site.
Also, make sure your equipment and software meets the minimum system requirements.
Live365 is compatible with most MP3 players. If you need help choosing and
configuring a player try our Windows and Mac tutorials.
If you are using Linux you can use the XMMS (X Multimedia System) to listen to our streams.
If you have technical difficulty with configuring or using your player,
please contact the company that created the player, for example, if you use
RealPlayer, please contact the Real Player company.

To listen to a Live365 broadcast, you will have to
install an audio player. This can be done in two simple steps.
First, check to make sure
your PC meets the minimum system requirements:
- Windows 95, 98, NT
4.0 or higher
- Pentium class PC
- Microsoft IE 4.01
and higher, or Netscape Navigator 4.05 and higher
Step 1:
Choosing your player
You can listen to Live365.com using players, such as Player365, RealPlayer,
Winamp, Sonique, MusicMatch, or Windows Media Player.
- Player365
Our recommended player. Go to Listener Settings and
select Player365.
- RealPlayer 7 or
higher
Once it is installed, you are done! If you have an older version, download this newest version.
- MusicMatch, Sonique,
Yahoo! Player, or Winamp (a.k.a. other MP3 player).
If you prefer to use one of these players, please choose it as your default player.
- Windows Media
Player.
If you use Windows Media Player, you may experience severe buffering
delays. To use this player, choose it as your default player.
- If you don't have a
player ... download and install one.
- Player365: Our
recommended player. Go to Listener Settings and
select Player365. The next time you open the player window you will be
walked through a short installation process.

Once you select a player, follow the directions
specific to your player. You may need to restart your computer, so bookmark
this page.
- If you selected
Winamp, Sonique, MusicMatch, Yahoo! Player or other MP3 players, go to step
2. If you are using RealPlayer 8, SKIP step 2 and start listening.
STEP 2:
Configuring your browser
After you configure your browser, your player will launch automatically every
time you listen to a Live365 broadcast. If you are using RealPlayer, please
skip this step. Select the browser you are using:

You need a streaming MP3 audio player to listen to
Live365 internet radio broadcasts, and you'll need to configure your browser
to send our broadcasts to your audio player.

Mac OS 7.6.1 or later
Power Macintosh with a 603 processor
100 MHz or faster (G3 or G4 processor recommended)
