Derito, resident in London, was born on 7/Aug/1966, studied Electro Technical Engineering and Computers until the o 3rd year in Lisbon, that conciliated with his presentations in clubs in the beginning of his musical career in 1985.

The culture took from Angola to Brazil by the slaves came back and brought influences acquired by Derito mainly from Bossa Nova, therefore Afro-jazz is the style he like most and perform.

- Queen Elisabeth Hall in London.

* Discography:

- From his 1st album, the 3rd music "Na Minha Banda", was edited in Germany, in a compilation including names as Martinho da Vila, Gilberto Gil and Maria Bethânea, among others.

- He was the winner of the video of year 1996 in Angola, with the composition "Intumba", sung in dialect N'gangela, which was edited in a compilation in Brazil.

-         His 3rd. CD "Discernment" was recorded in Portugal, Brazil, France and South Africa with a great guest list:

-         Brazil: Paulo Calasans (Production and Piano), Carlos Balla (Drum), Marcelo Martins (Saxophone Tenor and Soprano), Marcelo Mariano (Bass guitar), Armando Marçal (Percussion).

- France: Jacob Desvarieux (Production and Guitar), Jean Claude Naimro (Piano), Guy Nsangué (Bass guitar), Hamid Belhocine, Claude Pironneau, Fabrice Adam, Kako Bessot (Brass), all of them from group KASSAV and Manu Dibango, Saxofone .

- South Africa: Hugh Masekela, Trumpet.

- Portugal: Pedro Jóia, Acoustic guitar Flamengo.
